w126 steering lock disable

I have a 300SDL that I'll be parting out soon. To get it to the place I'll be parting it I'll be putting it on a dolly. However, I've been told that the seller doesn't have a key.

Yeah..

I'm pretty sure I can get it started and running, but I'm not sure where it's parked so steering might be an issue.

Does anyone have experience in drilling out the steering lock on these cars? I've done it on a w123, but that was a pain and I had the key. I'm almost wondering if it would be easier to cut the tie rods and steer by pushing the tires.

Any advice would be appreciated.
