broke clip trying to get rear W124 speakers out.

Alright guys, I have no clue what else to do to try and get my rear speakers out of my W124. I have tried everything. I followed the mercedesshop W124 speaker removal guide and pushed up on the rear speakers from the trunk through that little hole, on to the metal clips. Well, the clip ended up bending and almost breaking off. So, i don't know what else to do. Any other ideas how to get my rear speakers out? I need to port my bass!! Any way to port my bass other than that without drilling or cutting the car?

porting = either take out rear speakers, or cut a hole.
