What are valves seals made from m104.994

Reason notice fresh oil smell, coasting to a stop. Perfect engine braking.M104 maybe oil pipe from crankcase.never lose oil.

Leaking valve guide seals would pull oil into the combustion chamber. You'd be smelling burned oil out the tailpipe. A "fresh oil" smell would suggest a valve cover gasket leaking.

Those produced in France are made from Roquefort; those made in Germany and Belgium are made from Limburger; and the Moon is made of ...., well, we all know.

I believe valve seals are made from neoprene rubber.

I would guess the cracking comes more from heat and age, not wear.
