Question 300E Power Windows

Does anyone know what could be causing this:
the power windows at the front right and rear right
stopped working . I checked fuses all OK.
Possibly how to fix the power switches-or do they
need cleaning/replacement? The rear right door
switch wasnt working from the beggining but I was able
to move the glass using the console switches. Now I cannot.

I am assuming that this is due to the switches themselves.
Any input on opening the side door and getting into those
console switches would be appreciated.

Most power window problem on 124 300E is the window switch I will check the switch first........an other thing you can do is to use key to lock your vehicle from door lock and hold the key at lock position for 5 sec the convenience system will raise all windows this is easy way to test your window motors. ( if your vehicle has convenience system )

What my car does is it turns the door knobs up or down when
the door key is rotated+turns the alarm on/off.
I will look into the switch then.

Are you sure the fuse is OK? Front left and right rear are fused together, so try switching that fuse with the fuse for Front right and left rear. If it still doesn't work, remove the wood trim from the console (lift the tray carpet and remove the hold-down screw at the lower end). The switches unplug, so trade one for a window that works with one for a window that doesn't. If your problem moves to a new window, the switch is dirty. If it doesn't you probably have a wiring problem. Sounds like it might be somewhere in the wiring to the right rear.
