Question 560SEL - Location of Fanfare Horns

Original owner removed the "fanfare" horns from my ‘91 560SEL -- cutting, taping-up, and leaving the connecting wires secured near the suspension fluid reservoir. (The wiring must also have been further modified, since toggling the interior horn-select switch has no effect: in either position, the remaining radiator-mounted horns sound.)

I'd like to get this distinctive if quirky dual-tone feature of the car working again by replacing and re-wiring the missing parts. But... exactly how and where on the frame are the fanfare horns supposed to be positioned? I can't find correct placement info/instructions in either the service manual or online, and the wiring schematic only references that the horns go somewhere to the left behind the front bumper.

I'm hoping another 560SEL owner will have a look and provide greater detail (a picture would be great) as to how and where the stock fanfare horns are intended to be mounted and positioned on the car's frame.
