Factory recall procedures
Probably a dumb newbie question...
The search didn't come up with much info except that www.alldata.com can be checked to see what factory recalls have been issued for each car made. I did a check on mine and found 2 factory recalls. I am wondering how you go about having them done? Call MBUSA and they set you up with an appointment or something? There is no MB dealer around for 2-3 hrs drive here either

Typically the dealer will need to perform recalls. I'd call the closest dealer and ask them over the phone to do a VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry) on your cars VIN number (so have the VIN (ID) number handy), tell them you'd like to know if they list any outstanding recall campaigns on your car. Just because No-data shows campaigns that apply to your car, doesn't mean it NEEDS them done, they may have been done, unless you have evidence that what they are talking about needs to be done.
If the VMI does show some outstanding campaign work, then the dealer should make an appointment to have them done. Gilly
