Blower motor resistor keeps burning out. 82 380sl

Blower motor resistor keeps burning out Changed climate control unit, temp control reg. and blower reg. not sure what else to do, if i plug in resistor for 2 seconds it turns cherry red lost 2 already. any ideas ? Allso when i push the fan buttons and the doors open the squeals change sounds. Blower works with jumpers,any sug. will help thanks

blower amperage draw test time, and make sure the resistor gets airflow.

Question Resistor burns even when its not hooked up.

Resistor burns even when its not hooked up to the fan . The bottom left coil spring looking thing keeps melting running out of cars to get any more off of. thank you

Found the rascal after days of looking #3 pin was grouding out, ran seperite ground for that pin pulled out the old one every things great . Wouldent you know compesser leaks. luckly have a few around.
