Just wondering how much air to expect from a 126 sedan (1983 300SD) front air vents. With the fan on maximum I get a lot more forceful flow from the vent for the rear seats (behind the console) than from the front vents. Is there any parts that I can replace if I take off dash panels, or is there more to be checked that likely goes wrong? Any help appreciated; TIA.

I do not know how to give you a quantity of air, but the vacuum elements that open and close the doors in the heat exchange box do fail often. In fact I have the box out of a 126 now for repair and found two faulty. The only problem is that the dash isn't easy to take off!!
