Help! Install rear passenger window

My 1992 300E right rear passenger window got shot by a bb gun. Panel is off but i can't get the window in through the grooves. Is there a special technique to installing the glass? If anybody has any experience in this please let me know. Thanks

REMOVE THE CHANNEL THAT HOLDS THE QUARTER GLASS IN.
