Another sunroof problem

I just preformed a tune-up/oil service to my car, and was feeling really good about it. It was noticably more responsive. Then I go to open the sunroof and there is nothing. I have a 1990 300e with the sliding/tilting sunroof. The sunroof will tilt, but it will not go back. I searched through the sunroof threads and it seems that my problem is unique. I work at an import auto shop so I have access to all parts and tools needed for this, I just hoping I can do it myself. Anyone have any ideas?
