98 E240 with broken cruise control wand...
Hi everyone.
My 5 year old threw a little tantrum and broke the wand. It is still attached and doesn't work. Is it a very difficult task to remove it? Thanks Gary |

Kids will be kids. Sorry to hear about that. It is not that bad of a job, IF you have the correct tools. You have to pull the air bag assembly off the wheel, then using a 10mm allen remove the steering wheel. Once that has been removed it is pretty easy. Mostly phillips head screws and re-routing the harness for it. Good luck !!

So first I disconnect the battery... Then? The centre cover on the steering wheel just pulls off? Any tricks to it? Thanks Gary |
