1967 250 S Complete Tune Up
I'm a new Mercedes enthusiast. I recently purchased a 1967 250 S all original, one owner survivor. It's been sitting and needs a complete tune up. It's been years since I've delt with points etc. Could anyone direct me to the step by step process on sitting up points please. Any videos out there?

This should get you started:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW15xt1Yfn8
Obviously worn distributor caps, rotors, points, condensers, wirings need to be addressed. Back in the day, we actually had a little points file to smooth the surfaces. For setting the points, just set the gap on the high spot of any lobe (sorry, I don't have the specs for your motor's points}. A complete tuneup of any motor should start with a check of valve adjustment.
