On our 1998 C230, the rear view mirror was not holding position and we took it apart and the 4 parts on the right fell out. I found a drawing (attached here) on this forum showing where the springs go but the drawing doesn't match the pieces we have unless the springs are supposed to attach to the swivel piece that attaches to the roof. I can't figure out where the little black pieces go. Are they what is described as 'center rest'?
