I have heard the new direct injection diesel will make it to the states about the same time as the SOHC 3-valve per cyl V12. Expect it within a year or so.

This is an exciting time to be a lover of diesels, there are many new models coming out, here is a breakdown.
There will be a 4,5, and the 6 cylinder will become 200CC bigger to a 3.2 Turbo-diesel. There will be a V-8 diesel coming out, I have already seen the engine, and there is also plans afoot for a V-10 with twin turbo-chargers. The numbers for Horsepower and torque are out of this world, somewhere in the 400 range. |
