Foam liner on engine cover
I took off the engine cover to check the underside of the engine and transmission. The foam liner inside one of the covers is completely loose. I suspect its purpose is to lessen the engine noise bit. Do you see any issues with me just laying it in the cover loose and reinstalling the cover or should I just trash it? I don't think there would be any "suction" to damage anything. I'm wondering about wind while driving. The foam is beyond gluing down. This is the rear most cover BTW, the one over the transmission. Your input appreciated.

If the options are loose or trashed, I'd trash it and bet you cannot tell the difference with it gone.
Good luck!!!

That's kind of what my thought was too. Thanks for the reply.
