W124 fuel cut-out/engine stall issue
My '95 E320 Wagon has recently developed an issue where the engine will sporadically stall (feels like fuel delivery is getting cut off), typically when coming to a stop or on acceleration away from a stop/turn after stop sign. It also just happened for the first time this weekend under steady driving, while I was cruising at about 35mph, power output went down and then off completely. After about 10 seconds and/or a few cranks, I'm able to get the car started again without issue. Replaced the overload relay as a first try and locating the issue, but problem persists. Thoughts?

Is the engine wiring harness original?

The wiring harness has been upgraded. This is an issue that just started a few weeks ago, I've had the car for several years. Also saw the car stall today on a short trip A) at start up, B) while gently accelerating after braking downhill, although interestingly the power decreased but I was able to give it more gas which prevented total stall and re-engaged full power.

sk:
The loss-of-power symptoms suggest a fault with the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, and/or a fault with the O2 sensor. |

Frank, thanks, I'll look into that with my mechanic and report back.
