W124 wiper motor assembly lhd vs rhd

For a 95 e320

Does the assembly from a lhd car fit a rhd car?

If I recall correct, the assembly is the same, it just parks the wiper at the other side.

Interesting. My LHD parks the wiper on the left, in front of the driver. That seems illogical to me.

But numerous photos of LHD 124s show the same; parked on the left in front of the driver.

A friend in the UK thought is was wrong but we couldn't find any definitive answer.

Sorry to be not much use.

The wiper parks infront of the driver as it immediately cleans the glass as soon as the wiper moves - This is the reason the old W126, W140 had opposite parked wipers - the area infront of the driver gets cleaned immediately as the wiper raises - rather than at the end of the sweep.
