Valve Adjusting Wrenches

Do you use the same tools to adjust the valves on a 1981 280E as on a 240D?

I own two 240s and one 280. I can adjust the valves on the diesels with patience and regular hand tools.

I looked at the valves on the 280 and they seem to be between 23 and 24 mm on the locknut, plus the angles are unbelievable.

SO, if I buy wrenches for the 280, will they also fit the diesels?

Thanks

You buy one wrench for the 280 and three wrenches for the diesels.
