Brake Fluid Is Leaking From the Brake Booster

Brake Fluid is leaking onto my carpet from the power brake booster in my 1985 300TD. Do I need to replace the brake master cylinder or the brake booster or both? Thanks for any advice!

The problem is that the rear seal of the master is leaking into the booster. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. It gets into the vacuum system. If you're lucky, you'll ONLY have to replace the master and booster. If this is an older diesel, fluid could have made a full tour of your vacuum system, and you can expect many more parts to fail. Gas cars, maybe not as bad.
