722.6 transmission - ODB error code 740
"Torque converter lockup clutch has excessive power consumption"
This is what the Mbz code reader shows. It is more detailed than the common reader. The car, 2006 CDI, runs good. I reset the code as I believe it may be a one off. What may have gone wrong? The torque converter or the solenoid? Something sinister or I can ignore? Btw: car has 320k but runs great.
