Seat Belt "Chime"

I drive a 2012 ML350. Someone told me it's a W166 chassis. The SRS module went bad and Mercedes USA told me the manufacturer of the module has put an indefinite hold on it. I'm driving without air bags. I'll live with that (I hope), but I need a way to temporarily stop the seat belt chime. It's about to drive us crazy!
The dealership stated the only way they can do it is to remove the passenger seat and that will be several hours of labor cost. I see there are several connections under the passenger seat. Will disconnecting any one of them stop the chime?
Other ideas?? TIA!
(BTW, I have a pic of those connections if that will help.)
