1997 S500 B13 Sender Location Please
Greetings Forum Members,
I recently purchased a 1996 S500 with a 1997 engine swap. The temperature gauge is not working and I cannot find where the B13 temperature gauge sender is located to check or replace it. It is not on the top front of the intake manifold. A 2 lead B11/4 sensor for engine management is in that location. Information on the B13 sensor location for this engine would be most appreciated. Thanks, Knarf

Hi Oldsinner111,
Is that on a 1997 S500 W140? All my research to date tells me that it is a single pin sender to the cluster gauge. Thanks, Knarf

On the 1996 and 1997 Mercedes S500 the connector with 2 leads on the intake manifold near the thermostat housing is the motronic temperature sensor. B11/4.
I need to locate the sensor that sends signal to the instrument cluster temperature gauge, the B13 sensor. |
