1987 190e Ignition Control Module

New guy here with his first German vehicle in 20 years. I could use some recommendations on what to do... Yes I have already searched this sight pretty good.

Just bought a 1987 W201 190e 2.3 16v that wasn't getting spark. I was troubleshooting the TDC sensor and the ICM - and found the OEM ICM (MB 0045455732 0045455932) are unobtanium. So is WVE 6H1169

I was hoping this would be a fun little car but this isn't a great starting point.
Looks like people are primarily using using Megasquirt but have no clue where to begin
