Parts NLA at dealer
Frustrating experience with RBM here in Atlanta, i am into my sls accumulators on my 124 estate and one keeps leaking no matter how tight i get the banjo bolt.
I’d like to buy some new copper crush washers, 007603016103 , But Mercedes computer system has sale suspended They are unicorn poop, larger than 14mm Benz oil drain plug but smaller than 16mm Volvo drain plug seal, so I’m guessing 15mm. Why doesn’t Mercedes support parts for their old cars?! My buddy has expressed similar situations with his 202’s and 210’s of late, lots of frequently failing parts NLA, like k40 relays and pierburg intake manifolds, among others. It doesn’t seem like the aftermarket is going to step in for us, the junkyards will be all we have left and the pickings are getting ever slimmer… Lots of people at work say, you should stop driving old Benz’s, but I’ve never had a car payment and i love keeping these cars on the road and the feel of them in the curves. I’m driving my moms 78 300d now since my 95 e300d has a bad 722.4 and now my 94e320 pisses zh-m( at least I’ve fully flushed the system with four failed attempts to bleed the system) and i really love how light weight and nimble it feels on country roads
