2003 Lincoln Town Car; Van Top rear view mirror cable

OK, I have the Van Top rear view mirror hooked up along with the included rear facing camera. The problem I am facing is how to properly run the cable so it isnt' hanging out all over the car (pictures attached).

A local car accessory company has offered to professional install the cable so it would be invisible for $365. The only issue I have is if for any reason the cable broke internally, I would need to run new cable which would mean another $365 out of pocket!

So, the only idea I have is to use some sticky blue tape to tape the cable over the doors and along the roof. This will look somewhat tacky and I am looking for a more professional solution other than spending the $365.

Any ideas?

"Any ideas?"

Give serious consideration to posting your questions about a vehicle which is not a Mercedes-Benz on a forum which matches the car:

Route the wire under the headliner or tuck it into the door seam...?
