upper ball joint replacement

i have read in the manual the upper ball joints can not be replaced ,however they do sell replacement upper ball joints at most online places
can they or can't they be removed and replaced or do you need a new control arm?

are the lower ball joints pressed in and can a machine shop remove and replace these?

As far as I know the upper control arm bushings can be replaced individually, but unless you insist on doing the work yourself it makes more sense to replace the upper control arm- You save in labor costs . It comes from fastlane (and competitors..) with the new bushings ready to go...
The lower bushings do need to be pressed in.
Can a machine shop do it ? beats me.Can they ? It's a mechanic's job.
Good Luck
