Unhappy 400e to the dogs!

I had my 300e in the shop for Smog and Tranny repair when i saw a 400e sitting next to mine. It had a valve cover off when the Tech said look at this. The cam and lifters were covered with tar, the oil looks so BAD. Some guy just ran the SH-- out of it . What a shame. Plus somebody will end up buying this and the damage is already done.

The owner must of made the mistake of using Penzoil (dino), not to start a oil debate .

Not the Pennzoil. Autozone brand filter and oil did the trick.

It was the FSS system telling the owner to change the oil at 12,000 miles or when it turns to tar, whichever comes first!

Happy Motoring, Mark
