Seeking fault codes for 1996 E320 (W210 / M104)
The check engine light (ENGINE ELECTRONICS) came on, I did a search and found this EXCELLENT article about using AC display to read fault codes from Steve Brotherton of Continental Imports. It has the '97 codes but I need the '96 codes. It came up codes b1234 and b1235, BTW. Anybody have this info?
Also, in case I do fix it, how do I reset the check engine light? Thanks in advance! -Tom P.S. I am going to do the EGR line cleaning described in this article from the DIY section of MercedesShop.com but I'm not clear on how the EGR valve best comes off; do I remove the screws on the EGR valve where the line goes in that face the ground, or is there a better way?
