im having my manual transmission front-seal ring replace due to a leak. i was wondering if you guys could give me suggestions on what should be replace during the time my tran. is out; now that my car has 72,000 miles on it.(if anything)
"O" in regards to this car's chain-tensioner been defective, how would you know??? my chain is in good shape(no noise- no stretch etc.)

Since the trans is out have the clutch lining checked for wear. Also check the pilot bearing & the clutch slave cylinder. Have the shift lever bushings checked. How about the rear main oil seal too?
