Unhappy Can someone tell me if a B1 shift band is going bad?

I've got slop in my shifter. I cannot tell if it is the bushing or not.

I won't have time to look until Thursday night.

Should I book an appointment for a B1 band replacement to be safe???

I cannot lose 1 day without my car. This time of the year more than ever.

What do you think guys...?

Please advise symptoms of a bad B1 band in the tranny...

Labour costs?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincere thanks.

Mike McKinney

Shifter slop is bushings or someone left the arm on the tranny loose. If the tranny shifts ok and what not, leave it alone other than service at 30k intervals.

I just ordered a new shift link clip and shift linkage bushing.

I will make an appointment to have my fluid changed since it has been 33 000kms since its last flush (20 000 miles)...

I was also thinking about my fluid return lines as well since the metal ones are heavily corroded.

Thank you for the advice.
