honk honk

Hi Everyone!
Is there any reason for a horn to work for awhile..then not work at all..then start working again? This seems to be a ghost living in my 560sl. The horn has never been really strong but now it fades in and out..does anyone know what could be wrong and how I can remedy the problem.
Thanks!!
rob in charlotte

Horn

How many horns does your car have? Mine has two. I would unplug on at a time and find which one is not happy. Then pug in the bad one with the good ones wires, that way you can see if it's the wiring or horn it's self. With any luck it's the horn and not a short in the wiring.

Good luck,
Joel
