WHERE IS THE ((CIS-E COMPUTER)) LOCATED ON THE 190E 16V?

The CIS-E computer is located behind the battery under the hood. Just pull the plastic water shield out of the way. If you have ABS there will be a slightly larger computer in front of the CIS-E computer, it is the ABS computer. Just push the metal tab down then you can lift the wiring harness up to remove it. Also beside the ABS computer is your fuel pump relay, which controls your rev limiter. It will have a 6800 (or whatever number according to what your rev limit is) printed on it with the part number.

The CIS-E control is located behind your vehicle battery (remove the black plastic cover) You will find it right next to ABS

Is ignition timing control by the CIS-E computer ? If yes, can it be reprogram to change the timing ?
