My owner's manual shows a Bosch F 9 DCO as the plug for my 1997 C280. My local parts guy says Bosch now calls for an F 8 DC4, a slightly colder plug, I believe. Is the F 8 DC4 OK for my car or should I insist on the F 9 DCO? |

The F8DC4 is fine. That is what we put in at our shop. I believe that if you call a dealer you will be told the same thing.
