Anybody ever replaced there clutch fan with an electric fan?
My clutch went out on my engine fan and another cluctch is expensive,anybody ever put an electric fan on the radiator to help or replace the clutch fan on a 82'380 sel or similiar car?

Sure!! Did that on my 1982 280E street car!
MB now does that on almost all of the new cars!!

When you change to an electric fan where do you hook up power wire?
Do you need a thermostat switch or what?

Most aftermarket fans come as a kit that includes a thermostat.
Doubt that the original fan will do!!
