Water Pumps

I need a water pump for a 93 300 E 3.2 and the question is
Which Water pump. The question on the website is Which range does the Vehicle belong?

12-002497
G3000-34885

12-002496
G3000-60733

anyone have any Idea which one I should use? Or do they both work?

thanks for the help.

I am not famaliar with those numbers but '93 was a transition year for the engine. If you look up a water pump for a '94 or '95 M104 and then check the pre-'93 water pumps that might shed some light.

The number 12-002497 refers to YOUR engine number. You need to see if your engine number is lower or higher than this nimber to get the correct pump. AT the beginning of this number you will see 104.992-12-??????.

You can phone any dealer...

Phone a service or parts department and tell them you need your engine number, (because you're ordering parts from someone other than them ) give them your VIN # and they can look up the # for you.
