hello all
i have problem with the driver seat (87 16V), while driving or when starting the car, the seat starts to move to the far back and then to the front in addition to the headrest going up all the way. the switch is working. after the problem, i reset to the position nedded for driving using the switch. soon later, problem reoccured. could this be a bad control unit under the seat? how can i temporary fix it beside taking out the fuse? it is somewhat dangerous while driving and then the seat moves. pls help and thx in advance.

You can see if there is water inside of the control unit. Sometimes this is the case when it has a mind of its own. The control unit is under the seat. ( you can unplug it from under there as well)
