Water Pump C280, 1999 Replacement
I am going to replace my water pump in my 1999, C280.
Is there an inlet to the pump that coming from the engine block? I can see the two different sized hoses coming from the water pump, but I am guessing there is in the block entering the water pump from the back side of the pump? So that would mean I need to get a gasket? Can someone help? Thanks, Jeff |

You will have a gasket or silicone. I seem to remember silicone being used on these.

The gasket type is dependant on the front engine cover, some require a "profile" style gasket instead of sealant.
