Odbii?

My 95 E320 has a manufacture date of 01/95 is it ODBII? Where is the connector? The reason I ask, is that yesterday after the drop in temperature, my check engine light is on. Here in Texas they plug into the ODBII connector if you have one to check the faults for vehicle emissions testing. I have to have my car tested this month... I have access to an ODBII reader, and would like to check it myself, and fix if possible. Car has about 85K on it, and I think it may be the O2 Sensor, but want to be sure.

I think the only MB's in the '95 model year with OBDII were 201's. You can find out at: www.obd2.com Scroll down to the scanners part and click on the "personal" choice. I can't remember exactly where, but there is a list of the early cars with OBDII.

If you pull down the kick panel, the connector should be above the drivers right knee. The information at obd2.com will help you identify it, not only by a list, but also by looking at that connector.

I called the dealer. The 95 e320 is not ODBII. Spoke to shop Foreman, who stated that they usually get a rash of cars in with Check Engine light on during the first cold snap. Usually its the O2 Sensor.
