Which transmission do I have?

My 95 E320 cabrio has the four speed automatic. For my records, what's the full number designation of the transmission?

Dear Kestas,

Should be a 722.3 or a 722.4 tranny.
Overhere, in Europ, the identification of the tranny ( and the engin and all
the accessories) is marked on the inside of the backcover of the maintenance
booklet.
Otherwise you have to go under the car looking to the right side of the
tranny, just behind the oilcooler return.

I sent the info to you on the last post via email..
Guess you did not recieve..
Trans is a 722.369 for chassis 124.066

PS - The transonline web is no longer a free info site.. too bad .. it was a great site

The full #'s [ model/serial/production ] are stamped on the case , just above the pan gasket line, right side -front of trans.
