Question Switch or Vacuum Pump?

My automatic door locks on 95' s420 MB are not working neither are my back up (antennas) or my automatic trunk latch.

Questions:

1) Are these symptoms all related to a bad vacuum pump?

2) How do I know which one is defective the door lock "switch" on the center console or the "Vacuum Pump"?

3) How do I remove the "upper" half of the center console. I already removed the bottom half but the top half...I have no idea. Are there more screws not visible? Are there special tools that I need? Do I have to remove the radio first?

Please Help.

Thank you in advance.

I am not sure what the antennas have to do with it. I would test the vac pump before dismantling the car. It is easier to get to.

Did you check the fuse(s) first?

Switch or Vacuum Pump?

Thanks! Yes, I did check all the fuses and they are all GOOD. I checked the fuse box in the trunk and the fuses located in the engine compartment. Are there any more that I can access?
