mounts?

I noticed the mounts from Fastlane for my 99' S500 range from $86.00 to $110.00, the dealership wants $154.00. Is there a difference between any of them?

Mounts for ?????
Prices will vary retail VS wholesale. ALSO there are aftermarket parts that cost less, many times you DON'T get what you pay for!!

Engine mounts

I'm shopping for a pair myself. I also wonder about quality. There is a seller on eBay selling mounts made by "Hamburg Teknik" in Germany at a steep discount to the OEM price. I think I may try him.

And I looked at the S500 mounts on Fastlane out of curiosity. The OEM mounts on my SL are by Boge -- the cheap ones. The expensive ones are by Lemforder. Steve Brotherton says they are a good brand and specifically recommends them for suspension components

The ones sold by Lemfoerder are the SAME quality as the BOGE originals!
Don't waste 2-3 hours installing cheap aftermarket "knock-offs".

Going to heed this advice...

The price is $190 vs. $103, but I respect Doc's opinion too much. For my car Fastlane only has one brand.

Addressing MBD's original question, I suppose in his case Doc recommends the cheaper Boge. It is OEM, and the more expensive Lemfoerder is of equal and not superior quality.
