Life span of the 16 valve ignition coil?

I would like to ask what the service replacement interval is for the stock coil on a 16 valve. My car currently has 105,000 miles and still runs the original ignition coil. I tune up the car every 10,000 to 15,000 with new cap and rotor and every 10,000 with new Bosch copper plugs and the car runs very well to this point.
Should the coil be replaced at some point?
