W210 E class buzzing noise

On my 97 E420 Sport, there has been a constant buzzing sound coming from behind the sunroof switch area on the roof. It comes on and off with the climate control unit. It stops several seconds after the car has been turned off but goes on when the key is in the on position regardless of whehter the climate control is set to "off"or a temperature. Anyone know what to do about this? It's driving me crazy?!

Try search! Answered that question several times.
The in-car temp sensor has an aspriator mortor that sucks air to evaluate the correct temperature. MB part number 140-830-00-08, list is $68.

I tried the search feature already and couldn't find it. What did you search under? Anyways, thanks for the advice. I just stopped it from moving for now, will that cause any problems? Or do I have to get the new part?

You definately need to fix it.
This is how the climate control monitors temp inside the car. If it is not working, the climate control will be slow to react and temp control will not be accurate.
