300TD Turbo won't stop
hey-hey!!!,
I just swapped the engine in my '85 wagon, it starts fine but won't stop with the key. The red stop on the linkage does the job and so does sucking on a hose atached to the valve. The question is, where do I look next? I assume the valve is good, since I can stop the engine by sucking on it. thanks in advance, Douglas Piccard ps. why cant MB jsut use an electronic soleniod like everybody else, that vacuum stuff looks like trouble waiting to happen. |

check for vacum to the ign switch shut off, if it shut off before you probaly either mixed up the vac lines or broke one.
