Need assistance replacing climate control bulb
I'm trying to replace the light bulb of the climate control buttons in my 1992 190E 2.6. How do I go about doing this? Can someone please give me an almost detailed description on how to do this simple task.

I would like to know the same for a '94 E420 (W124) that I may buy this week. The bulb for the temp wheel and the first two buttons next to it is out. Difficult or easy job?
Thanks,

I have never changed one on those cars.. but have changed lots on other Mercedes.. All that I have worked on have been kind of the same...
Remove the ash tray.. find the clips that are used to lock the radio in.. Remove the radio.. then remove the wood cover over the climate controls.. from the bottom .. Its just pushed into a plastic cover.. Be carful.. then remove the screws that hold the controls in.. Most are held in at the top with a screw on eather side.. and have two tabs at the bottom.. so has to move up a little to pull out.. Change the bulbs and put it back like it came apart.. Ken |

Doesn't sound so bad, thanks. Some people say to replace them all if one went bad. Good advice?

I would replace them all.
It's the same thing I did when one of the bulbs in my instrument cluster went out. You go to a lot of trouble to pull the cluster out. With my luck, if I replace just one bulb, as soon as I put the car back together, another one will go out.
