190E oil leak
hello all,
The '86 190E 16v with 185k which i just bought, has a pretty significant oil leak in the center of the car, located at about where the windshield meets the hood. It leaks almost a quart a week. What's wrong with it? Is this gunna be expensive? tough to fix? thanks for the help. J Mezlo |

You say "oil". Are you sure it's motor oil, or could it be transmission fluid? (tranny fluid is red)

mine leaks either tranny fluid or oil continuously but its a very very small amount and very slowly. after being parked in a garage over several years there is a sopt about 1 foot in diameter on the floor underneath the car and on the lower part of the engine like where the oil pan and tranny pan are is coated in an oily film
