I'm doing a compressor replacement on the 300E and have a question on the lubricant. The dealer says the new compressor is already charged with oil. Does this mean I don't need to add any more? If I do need to add oil, is it PAG or POE and how much? BTW, I'm planning to flush all the lines, condenser and evaporator, so there won't be any residual oil there.

M.B. supplies only PAG oil & that is what is used by "nippondenso" as the oe fill. Make sure that there is enough oil in the reman. unit, somewhere short of 6 oz.
