Slight Driver side door lock problem

Folks,

When I open the door with key on the driver side door, all doors open with no problem. On occasion (seems like more often now), if I open the car from the trunk, the driver door lock knob comes up... but not enough to unlock the vehicle.

Anything I should look at? I'm concerned because I'm about to install the BergWerks Keyless entry system.

What vehicle? Assuming it is a vacuum system, you may have a leaky actuator in the driver's door, or the linkage may need adjustment or repair. The keyless system will not work any better than the key in your trunk does now.

As a follow up.... The driver door seems to lock fine when I lock car using trunk. When I open from trunk driver door does not open all the way. Is the actuator adjustable? What is the linkage?
