My 300e ruined my xmas

Well I decide to go to the movies lastnight and when i came out the car would not start. B4 I posted anything here I did a search on this forum and found out that I could do a few tests b4 i call the tow company.Well i started by trying to listen to the fuel pump and when i could not hear anything i proceed to pull out the fuel pump relay and jumping leg 30 and 87 Well the car started right up and i drove it home .I opened up the fuel pump relay but i could not c any physical damage . Well I am going to order a fuel pump relay from Phyl but I am just wondering if I should check anything else b4 i change it . thanks guys

You have to have the right outlook on this. As I see it you should be bubbling over with success at saving the situation on your own.

You probably can resolder the circuit board in the relay but replacing it isn't bad business. Sometimes the soldering damages other internal components and a relay from Phil is small price to pay for such enjoyment.

Just get a new one...

and try to fix the old one. If it works, keep it as a spare in your trunk.
