The driver's seat in my 300 TE started making a pop-like noise when I accelerate away from a stop, plus when this happens, it feels as if something is poking me in the left shoulder. How do I remove the seatback so that I can identify the source of the problem?
BTW, is there a CD yet available on this car? ('91 300 TE 4-matic) Thanks!~ |

No CD yet, projections say Jan???
Take out the two phillips screws at the back side bottom of the rear panel. This is done from the back seat. Then peel the leather from the sides and the rear panel will come off. You will be able to see the rest from there. ------------------ Benzmac: 1987 16V ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |

Thanks again for the feedback!!! Have yet to have time for this project but will report (if anyone is interested) on how it went. BTW, will I need some type of adhesive to re-assemble anything?
Also, will put a reminder to check in durring January to see if the CD is in production. ...tracy |
